Seattle food festival shooting: 15-year-old suspect arrested, police say two more shooters involved.

Investigators now believe at least three gunmen were involved in the deadly shooting at Seattle’s popular Bite of Seattle food festival, revising earlier accounts that suggested only two shooters. The gunfire erupted at around 6 pm on Sunday during the final hours of the annual festival at the Seattle Center near the Space Needle. The event, which attracts nearly 350,000 people over three days, descended into chaos as thousands of visitors ran for cover.. According to juvenile court documents filed on Monday, investigators believe a 15-year-old suspect arrested at the scene and another individual who died during the exchange of gunfire were shooting at “at least one other unknown suspect.”The investigation has evolved since the shooting. Shortly after the incident, Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson said two people had been taken into custody, but later withdrew that statement. On Monday morning, Police Chief Shon Barnes said it was still unclear whether one of the deceased was the second shooter. Later that day, court filings revealed investigators now believe a third suspect was also involved.

The report said OnePlus will continue operating in the country for now. The company is expected to leave India sometime in 2027. This gives OnePlus more time in one of its biggest markets outside China. Neither OnePlus nor Oppo has officially confirmed the reported plans.

LPG tanker with 28 Indian crew members attacked near Strait of Hormuz. A Mozambique-flagged LPG tanker with 28 Indian crew members on board came under attack in Iranian territorial waters near the Strait of Hormuz on Friday, the Indian Embassy in Tehran said. The Embassy confirmed that all crew members are safe and said it remains in touch with the concerned authorities.In a statement, the Embassy said, "The Embassy of India in Tehran is aware that the Mozambique-flagged LPG tanker DISHA (IMO No. 8818219) came under attack in Iranian territorial waters earlier today. The vessel has 28 Indian crew members on board. The Embassy has been in close contact with the relevant authorities and has confirmed that all Indian crew members are safe.""You are non-compliant by continuing towards Iran. You have been warned several times. I am preparing to fire at your engine room," the caller said. "You have 15 minutes to clear the engine room."

31 जुलाई तक किसान करा सकते हैं खरीफ फसलों का बीमा|भारत सरकार के कृषि, सहकारिता एवं किसान कल्याण मंत्रालय की परिचालन मार्गदर्शिका के अनुसार राज्य सरकार ने प्रधानमंत्री फसल बीमा योजना के तहत खरीफ-2026 के लिए अधिसूचना जारी कर दी है। प्राकृतिक आपदाओं एवं अन्य कारणों से फसल खराब होने पर किसानों को आर्थिक सुरक्षा प्रदान करने के उद्देश्य से जिले के किसान 31 जुलाई 2026 तक खरीफ फसलों का बीमा करा सकते हैं। जिले में खरीफ-2026 के लिए फसल बीमा कार्यान्वयन हेतु एग्रीकल्चर इंश्योरेंस कंपनी ऑफ इंडिया लिमिटेड को अधिकृत किया गया है। *आठ अधिसूचित फसलों का होगा बीमा, निर्धारित प्रीमियम पर मिलेगा सुरक्षा कवच* संयुक्त निदेशक कृषि (विस्तार), जिला परिषद जोधपुर डॉ. जीवनराम भाखर ने बताया कि प्रधानमंत्री फसल बीमा योजना के अंतर्गत जिले की आठ अधिसूचित खरीफ फसलों का बीमा किया जाएगा। इनमें कपास के लिए प्रति हेक्टेयर बीमित राशि 1 लाख 36 हजार 413 रुपये, मूंग के लिए 54 हजार 792 रुपये, मूंगफली के लिए 1 लाख 75 हजार 570 रुपये, ग्वार के लिए 38 हजार 246 रुपये, मोठ के लिए 25 हजार 297 रुपये, बाजरा के लिए 27 हजार 212 रुपये, तिल के लिए 39 हजार 74 रुपये तथा ज्वार के लिए 26 हजार 934 रुपये निर्धारित की गई है। उन्होंने बताया कि खरीफ फसलों पर बीमित राशि का 2 प्रतिशत तथा वार्षिक वाणिज्यिक फसलों पर 5 प्रतिशत प्रीमियम कृषकों द्वारा वहन किया जाएगा।
